ChadChat was an engineering project at the Faculty of Science and Technology University of Silesia in Katowice. The idea was to create a simple instant messenger that would allow, in addition to writing text messages, also sending images, videos and files. The app was developed in 2024.
Developer decided to use components from daisyUI, the most popular component library for the Tailwind CSS framework. My role as a designer was to design a clean interface that would leverage as many components from this library as possible. I used Tailwind CSS classes to create components that were not available in the library or to enhance elements that were suitable but too basic for the features included in the app.
